HD-DVD might not be ready, but Netflix is
Although it appears that Toshiba and the studios might not be ready for the
March release, it appears that Netflix is ready. A reader pointed out after looking at his Netflix account page, that
there are now preferences for HD-DVD. From the accounts page under "Formats" you can configure your HD-DVD
options , such as if you have a HD-DVD player and if you always want a HD-DVD instead of DVD when available. There is
now even a format column on your queue so you can see which HD-DVD's are in your queue.
Thanks Daniel!

Indeed they will need a preference as to how long you're willing to wait for the HD-DVD version. I'd accept a 48 hour delay but not much more for the HD version.

I will wait as long as it takes, I don't see myself watching any SD DVD's after they are released.
I already wait 6 months to watch BSG on UHD instead of SciFi, what is a few days for a HD movie?
