Sony has a 'Minimium Advertised Price' policy. The low price at CC is a dead ringer for a typo. But 'Truth in Advertising' makes CC sell the sets at that price. Sony will just pull all co-op funds for the ad. Believe me, I have advertised with Sony for 16 years, the most they can do is pull ad $ away from CC. Grab a set if you can, Best Buy screwed up an ad for the 50A10 LCD set a few weeks back and was forced to take a huge profit cut with every set that was sold during that time. BB and CC are in businness to make money. Plain and simple. But cutting $1000 off the price is way more than they need to be appear aggressive. Someone at advert. division will have some 'slpaning' to do.
