I'd love to replace my two 19" monitors with one widescreen monitor. Plus it's got component video input so I could use it as another tv for my Halo2 parties. It'd be really nice if they could add HDMI to that monitor though.

zelig2

Comments on

These deals pop up all the time - if this expires keep an eye over at www.gotapex.com. The price was right ($900 shipped at the time with sales tax) and it has done a great job. As mentioned, this LCD doesn't have the HDCP circuitry enabled (supposedly, it is in there, just no "active"), so it cannot be fed from an HDMI source (converted to DVI). I've been using the Component inputs with my SA-8300HD cable box with no problems at all. I've never used it as a PC display. It probably too big for me to sit right in front of it.

SUOrangeman

Comments on

I have one of these and on an graphics card DVI digital oputput to the DVI digital input it is a thing of beauty.

VGA RAMDAC quality problems go out the widnow, digital all the way and games such as Unreal Tornament 2004 look lovely on it at 1940x1080.

nemi
