Voom HD: Still not dead

Yup, the former HD provider reborn as a network of high definition channels is still kicking. Latest Voom news is as their parent company, Rainbow, strikes a deal with Mega Media and the Media Development Authority of Singapore to produce HD content to be broadcast worldwide.

As HDTV adoption increases worldwide localized content will be important to speed it along. Mega Media is a key partner for Voom as they apparently have the only Dolby Certified soundstage and Digital Cinema encoding facility in Singapore.

HD Beat Southeast Asia edition anyone?
